As we flip the calendar to December, I find myself reflecting more deeply than usual.
Not just because the holidays are around the corner or because another year has flown by, but because now, more than ever, I believe in the power of intention. With just one month left in 2025, now is the time to start thinking about who we want to be in 2026. Not just what we want to do.
Earlier this month, I had the chance to attend the Tom Ferry "Listing Edge" event, and one of the biggest takeaways for me came in the form of a simple but powerful prompt:
"Pick 2–3 key areas of your life to focus on in 2026, and write down your goals—plus the reason they matter to you."
So today, I’m doing just that. I’m sharing my 2026 goals here to encourage you to think about yours too. Let’s go into the new year not just with momentum, but with meaning.
My 3 Goals for 2026
1. Health: Build strength and energy to lead with intention
2025 has been a full-speed kind of year. Between real estate, family, and community, I’ve been in go-mode. But in 2026, I’m committing to shifting gears a bit. My goal is to focus on my physical strength and mental clarity—not for aesthetics, but for energy. Because when I feel strong, I show up stronger for everyone around me. Whether that’s daily walks, strength training, or finally prioritizing sleep, this goal is all about fueling my purpose.
2. Relationships: Be present with the people who matter most
In a fast-paced business like ours, it's easy to fill the calendar but forget to fill your cup. In 2026, I’m setting the intention to deepen my closest relationships. Family, friends, colleagues, and clients. That means more intentional time, fewer distractions, and listening more than I talk. The truth is, relationships are the ROI. Whether in business or life, connection is the currency that counts.
3. Knowledge: Stay curious, stay sharp
The real estate market is always evolving. I believe so should we. I’ve always been passionate about personal growth, and in 2026, I’m setting a goal to invest in my knowledge base more consistently. That includes reading more (even if it’s 10 pages a day), attending more masterminds, and staying plugged into the latest industry tools and strategies. When I grow, my clients benefit. That’s the best win-win I can think of.
So. What About You?
What 2–3 areas do you want to grow in next year?
The options we explored at the Tom Ferry event were simple but powerful:
-
Health
-
Wealth
-
Relationships
-
Friends
-
Community
-
Fun
-
Travel
-
Contribution
-
Knowledge
-
Spirit
Pick the ones that resonate most with where you are now and where you want to go. Write your goals, and don’t forget the “why.” Because the “why” is what will keep you moving when the “how” gets hard.
